Went to Art Walk a few years back and somehow ended up buying a ceramic bowl from a guy working out of his garage on Prospect Street. Best impulse buy I ever made. Definitely going again this year if the weather holds up.
Theresa M.Ha, that sounds exactly like Art Walk. You go in thinking you're just browsing and leave carrying something you had no idea you needed. My wife picked up a small painting from a studio near the Rondout two years ago and it's been hanging in our kitchen ever since. Fingers crossed for decent weather this time around.
